Sunday 25/01/09, my dad (with 38 years of driving experience&first time involved in a major car excident) drove from Kangar earlier the day and reached simpang pulai exit was heading to cameron highland using the Simpang Pulai - Cameron route. At 4pm while they were at Km19 heading up to cameron, the Wira loose control (40km/h) due to raining. The Wira was spinning fast and hit the road safety divider at the right of the road and continued spinning back and was saved by a 4wheel jeep (coming from cameron) that safety hit the back of Wira (to absorb the Wira momentum). Luckily my dad, mom & brother wore seat belt, and due to the impact the airbag exploded and only my brother suffer minor injury (lips&nose). So please do wear your car seat belt.. it saves my family life !
